Description:
|
The Eagle GT is Goodyear's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire developed for the drivers of sports cars, coupes and sedans looking for style, handling and all-season capabilities. The Eagle GT is designed to combine an eye-catching tread pattern that delivers in dry and wet conditions, along with all-season versatility, even in light snow.
The Eagle GT features an all-season tread compound molded into a dual-zone asymmetric tread design. The outboard high-performance zone features large independent shoulder and intermediate tread blocks to enhance steering response and provide predictable handling, along with sweeping Aquachute tread grooves that help evacuate water to enhance wet traction. The inboard all-season zone features a continuous rib flanked by dual circumferential grooves to help evacuate water and the inboard shoulder blocks feature Tredlock sipes to blend stability on the road with traction in snow. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon to combine uniform ride quality with high-speed capability, along with a polyester cord casing.

Great tires for the legacy. Put them on my 2009 2.5i last month. They perform great, you can feel when they're going to break lose. Picked up a set for under 600 mounted and installed. Also they have a 50k mile warranty. No complaints.

Won't hesitate to put these on the car again. They respond well, handle well, they're quiet, I have more fun in the twisty turns than before. I can't comment on tread wear yet but so far these have been great tires.

I am on my second set of Goodyear Eagle GTs. My first set lasted 50,000 and could have gone another 5,000 or so in the summer, but winter came along. They are great in the summer/fall and spring, and will get you through the winter.

I used these tires and loved them. For a performance/low profile tire, they were quite quiet, you could feel the sidewall start to flex once the tire was about to break loose and they are supposed to last up to 40K miles. On top of all that, they are fairly cheap too! I never pushed them extremely hard, but they did work well on dry as well as wet and I would def recommend them.

These aren't the greatest in the snow, then again on my last car i had a set of winter and summer wheels. So when compared with actual snow tires they pretty much fail in comparison.
However, they handle just as well as my summer tires did (yokohoma es100) on dry and 10 times better in the rain.
All in all i'de buy these again or perhaps try the f1 all season
I'm a fan
