The asymmetrical tread pattern gives Nokian WR G2 the diverse properties needed to be an outstanding tire in any driving conditions. The shape and siping of the outer shoulder make the tire easy to handle and stable to drive on all surfaces, even at high speeds, while the inner shoulder ensures superb grip in winter conditions. The tire’s center rib features new 3D siping for better handling and stability on wet and dry roads.
Nokian Tyres is also the pioneer in developing new solutions for safer driving in slush: its innovative slush wedge and polished grooves force heavy slush and water aside to prevent aquaplaning.

Great tire, used them in here in Vancouver where it rains 8 months out of the year. Does ok in the dry, its not a performance tire, but you can expect that.
Havent tried it much in the snow, but it is supposed to be good.

These things are great. Got em put on at the beginning of winter and ive been loving em. They provide great traction on ice, snow not to mention wet and dry.
The only downside: they're kind of expensive. however, the tread wear seems to be pretty decent so maybe that offsets the price a bit.

I have had these on my WRX for two years now and I am going to put them on my Legacy as soon as I need tires. If you live in an area that gets snow and you need a true all season tire these are the best I have ever used. I would definitely recommend them.
