RalliTEK Sport Springs for Legacy are the perfect combination of form and function. RalliTEK Legacy Sport Springs fit 2005-2008 Legacy 2.5i, GT, and SpecB(less drop on SpecB).
RalliTEK Legacy Sport Springs maintain a comfortable ride while addressing the weaknesses of factory springs. Squat under acceleration is minimized and handling improved. Ride height is reduced from factory. Legacy 2.5i and GT will ride approximately 1.3 inches lower than factory. SpecB ride height is about .9" lower than factory.

I just bought a set of these Rallitek springs from their website. I paired them up using Bilstein HD from a Spec B that I was able to get for 200. I got them installed on Saturday took the car on familiar roads and noticed an immediate difference. At first the struts were making a lot of noise and I thought I left something loose however after some hard corners and braking the struts and springs must have settled and now they don't make any noise. The springs are great for this car. It will not drop your car, you wont even notice a drop in the front, the rear squats a little I didn't use the spacers but thinking about putting them in. The road feel is amazing, I took it over some bumps and around some corners. The body roll is almost not even there, the car sticks so much better to the road, feels more like a sports car then a subaru now. If you are looking for springs that won't break the bank and wont slam your car these are for you. Rallitek did a hell of a job with these springs.

Coming from the stock Spec.B suspension setup, these springs increase firmness without the cost of comfort. Yes you do feel more unevenness in the ground, but it is more of a damped bump feel and doesn't shock your body each time you go over potholes or cracks.
Handling wise, roll was decreased dramatically, about 75% from stock. With the stock springs, hard turns felt like the body roll created a 45 degree angle betwen the car body and the wheels. Now it's more like 10-15 degrees of roll.
Because of the different spring rates, weight gets transfered differently too during turns, but in a good way. It is now more centered and balanced on all 4 wheels, instead of the feeling like 80% of the weight is on the outer 2 wheels.
Understeer was reduced, had to adjust my driving style because my tail was slipping out. Now it feels more neutral and centered.
Aesthetically, the drop from these springs were minimal. Still a larger gap in front than I would like to see, but the car still looks pretty level. Of course this is a plus for speed bumps, I can drive normal slow speed over them.

Pros:

Low cost, small drop, great handling
|
|
Cons:

Doesnt sit pretty on the SpecB

Installed these with 1/4" spacers in the rear (from paranoid fab). We get crappy weather and terrible pot holes and so far these springs have kept my ride feeling like OEM should have been.
When I got the car it felt like a caddy! I DIDNT want it to feel like a honda either, which is why im glad it didnt drop very far at all. Its exactly what I was looking for.

I recently purchased these and paired them with Koni struts. The installation was a piece of cake. I did these and the struts within 4 hours with beer breaks (the shop quoted 8 hours). The ride is great. Exactly what I was expecting. The drop is as advertised - perfect if you're not looking for a slammed look or if this is your DD for business. The ride is COMPLETELY different from stock. Much firmer with no more pitch or dive. Cornering is greatly improved. By the way...Konis are highly recommended!

Pros:

no more squat and body roll.
|
|
Cons:
|
three finger gap up front, two finger gap in the rear.

I installed the Rallitek springs using the stock Bilstien shocks. The ride is firm not harsh. Gone is the body roll and the squat. It's not a dramatic change but a good improvement over stock, it's the way a sports sedan should be. These springs would have scored a ten if it were not for the difference in gap from front to rear. Other then that I'm inspired to move on to stage two.
