Pros: good cosmetics, great feel
Cons: firms up steering feel, maybe too much

Install was pretty easy, except for the control arm bolts. The control arm became too easily misaligned, and had to be manhandled back into place. However, this would be an issue with any chassis brace with the same connection points.

The part is very light, indicative of its aluminum construction.

After installation, the front of the car is definitely firmed up. Front chassis flex and torsion is greatly reduced.

A surprising result was that the steering feel changed dramatically. Before, steering was typical Subaru - light, nimble, precise. After, steering feel was perhaps even more precise, but feel was heavier. I can only describe it as more "German" in feel. It feels almost just like the BMW 320d I drove in Berlin a while back. I'm not sure if I like the change, but I haven't had a chance to get a feel for it yet.

Pros: Quick and easy install
Cons: NVH and fitment with 5EAT

Install was smooth and easy. Didn't have any issue with the control arms. They moved, but just needed a good push and the bolt went right in. Total time took for install took about 30 minutes.

On first start up I noticed a HUGE amount of NVH. After about 30 seconds at idle most of the NVH subsided and I went for a test drive. Under acceleration the NVH returned.

Back under the car again and the tranny is touching the bar. Loosen all the bolts and re tighten. Same. Loosen the bolts again (to get my hands around the bear) and hang from the bar (reverse push up) and do a couple reps. Re tighten the bolts.

Now you can just slip a piece of paper between the tranny and the bar. So I go for a test drive.

Front end is slightly firmer and steering feels different. More like pointing the car instead of turning the car. Has a sharpness to it.

Still more NVH then stock but much less now that teh tranny has some clearence. Just what I expected from this type of mod.

Decent part for the money. Beware of clearance on 5EAT's. Wouldn't recommend until after springs, struts, sways. Kind of like the finishing touch on your suspension.
