Description: The S.drive radial features Yokohama's micro-flexible tread compound developed using nanotechnology to produce a silica-based compound that maximizes contact between the tire and the road to enhanced grip in wet and dry conditions. This advanced compound is molded into a directional tread design that features independent shoulder blocks, notched intermediate ribs and a continuous center rib to maintain constant road contact and improve cornering stability. Wide circumferential grooves with angled groove walls optimize cornering traction and evacuate water to resist hydroplaning while groove-in-groove technology (tiny scores on the groove walls) distributes the stress loads to promote more even wear. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by jointless nylon cap plies and belt edge strips to enhance ride uniformity and high-speed durability.

Pros: grip , response , feedback , wet traction , predictability
Cons: slightly noisy , impact harshness in extra load variant

great tire for the price , impact harshness should not be a big concern , just mentioning it & i did get the 92y extra load version vs the 88y as i prefer a stiff tire & wanted the extra life & rim protection .

225/40/18 on 7.5 rim

Pros: Firm and Grippy
Cons: Cost

This tire came with my car and it feels amazing. I only have my snow's to compare to but these tires are amazing. Fuel ecomony is great and it grips like no other I've tried. They are apprently fairly expensive though.

Pros: Yokohama 30 day test drive, great in wet or dry, very comfortable ride
Cons: none

So when I picked up my car I guess the dealer went ultra cheap and put some wanli tires on my car. After a couple of months I noticed that my steering wheel had horrible vibration took it in for an alignment and found out that the front passenger tire was splitting. Did a lot of research in terms tires anywhere from goodyear gsd3's, michelin pilot sport 2's, falken's, and so on and so on. Went to discount tire and the saleman couldnt stop raving about these tires. He also told me I could try them out for 30 days and if I didn't like them I can bring the back no problem. So I gave it a shot and wow I am so glad I did. I live in Vegas and lately we've had some bad weather heavy rain and even a good amount of snow, these tires gripped surprisingly very well in these conditions and I could not be any happier. The ride quality is very good as well quiet smooth ride. I say these tires fit perfectly with our luxury sports sedans. I have no regrets with these tires. I got these tires for for around 650 lifetime replacement, rotation, blah blah the works at discount tire.

Pros: Grip is pretty good.
Cons: Noisy.

These tires for the price are ok, but are noisy and you feel everything. I still recommend these, because I have 245/35R18's and they are the cheapest tires in that width that I could find.
