Description:

This is a competitor to the JL Audio Cleansweap and the Alpine PXE-H650.
It takes factory inputs, and outputs RCA levels for amps. In addition, it has a massive equalizer, with 31 independent bands for front left and front right, 27 independent bands for the rear left, rear right, and center channel, as well as 10 bands for a sub woofer.
Control is done through Bluetooth, with support for Palm OS, Windows, and Windows Mobile 5.0+

I just installed a 3Sixty.2 in my 08 LGT. I would not have gone this route if I did not have navigation, as the nav screen takes up the cubby where I would like to put my radio.
Bottom line is that the results are, so far, excellent. I'm actually very impressed, as I expected worse with the OEM head unit as the audio source. My former radio was a competition level Eclipse (8053), so I'm very thankful that the sound quality is much closer to aftermarket head unit, while probably being better than a cheap aftermarket head unit. The equalization does everything I want it to, allowing me to tune the car extremely well. The built in crossovers are also useful, as I can tune those specifically along with the high channels. Time alignment resolution is down to 2 inches, which is a bit grainier than I'm used to coming from an Eclipse 8053, but I don't think that it has been an issue.
There are cons, as the unit isn't perfect. I had to tweak input sensitivity settings after setup, as if I do it the way the manual instructed, it did not work well at low volume. The volume/control nob that came with it also never worked right, but Rockford Fosgate is replacing it.
The Windows software is also a bit iffy. I was running on Vista 32-bit SP1, and occationally, the software would pop-up with a random message. If you click ok, and ignore it, software continued to work. Windows mobile software control works well, provided you install .NET for windows mobile first. I used .NET 3.5, which was the latest version as of this writing.
Tuning is a breeze if you have any RTA software. I use RoomEQWizard. (Google it, you'll find it), along with a home theater microphone. I also use a Sound Blaster Live! USB audio device to make sure I'm getting good data. Once you know what you want to adjust, it's a breeze. Once you've gotten everything as you want it, the software allows you to save a local copy of the settings, which allows a fast restore should you lose power in your car, or something similar.
My setup is stock head unit (P-204UH), JL Audio 500/5, Image Dynamics ID8 sub, Image Dynamics XS-65 fronts, Boston Acoustics Pro60's rear, and a 0.5F cap.
The 3Sixty.2 has line level inputs in addition to the OEM interface, meaning that if HighlineCA comes along with his JDM HVAC mod at a reasonable price, or SOA comes out with a double DIN kit, I can wire a new radio into the 3Sixty.2, and still enjoy the extreme tunibility that comes wiht it. It also has an AUX input, which you could run an iPod or other device directly into the 3Sixty. The Aux input has it's own EQ to allow you to balance the AUX input with the rest of the system.
I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who is thinking of an aftermarket stereo, and wants or needs to keep the factory radio's functionality. The JL Audio cleansweap only creats flat line level, but does nothing for the car's acoustics. The Alpine PXE-H650 is good on paper, but I've tried it, and the results were sub-par. The big advantage of the 3Sixty.2 over something like the PXE-H650 is that the 3Sixty.2 allows me to tune everything percisely, as opposed to the PXE-H650, which calibrates by a mic, and will not let you adjust anything if it doesn't sound right.
While the product isn't perfect, my hat's off to Rockford Fosgate for creating a peice of hardware that lets me keep my OEM interior intact, while enjoying the better sound quality that comes with the amp.
