Kartboy Delrin Shift Knob

Description: Kartboy took their familiar "flattened light bulb" shape and machined it out of soft-touch Delrin. Delrin is excellent for not retaining heat, and its smooth-but-grippy finish is a good choice for never-miss shifting. The bottom of the knob is machined to accept the factory boot, just like a stock knob. Threads directly on. No set screws!

Available in white or black. Five-speed only for now; fits any Subaru five-speed car. Black knob comes with black/yellow emblem. White knob comes with blue/white emblem.

Install tip: Put emblem on AFTER tightening shift knob onto car!

Pros: Perfect size, texture, build quality, temperature
Cons: None!

I looked around quite a bit for a nice looking, but subtle, shift knob and finally decided upon the Kartboy knob. At first I was a bit hesitant due to a few reviews saying the delrin was "greasy" and "slippery." I've experience no such feel at all - clean your hands, people!

My hand placement fits perfectly with the shape of it. It's just heavy enough to nearly mock the OEM knob, but light enough to give it a better, more sporty feel.

I wanted a classy looking shift knob, and I'm very pleased that I went with this option. I feel that it still keeps the professional look of the car, without the boy-racer attitude of most shift knobs out there. I went with the black/silver emblem from Kartboy's website, instead of the usual black/yellow emblem that I thougth stands out too much.
