Description: WBR kits come standard with T-Clamps, BOV adapter, coolant bottle, bumper beam, there is nothing extra to buy to make it fit the LGT. The fog lights aren't touched with this design. The tubing is aluminum, and it is nearly THREE feet shorter than the competitions. WBR500whp fmic spools faster than a Helix TMIC, (according to owners) and will easily handle 500whp.

Piping runs counterclockwise so cooled air does not pass back over the turbo.

Pros: Huge core and great function. good support by dave during install.
Cons: no instructions, missing hardware

just bought a fmic and intake package from wbr. got their newest core which is two inches larger. lots of trimming because of the size, but other than that install was easy. trimming was the hardest part. fogs easily fit with no issues, and good location of piping. shortest route of piping possible as far as i could tell comparing it to other products. after install i can feel a nice consistant increase in power even even without another tune. negatives are the tab to mount the new overflow tank wasnt long enough to reach the desired hole past the ic pipe so i zip tied it and a few pieces of hardware were missing. the core only came in black so i used lacquer thinner to take off the paint to make it more visible with our tiny holes on the legacy. good value in the product for what i paid. core seems very well built. didnt break the bank. no increased lag was noticed with the addition of the fmic. still spools at the same rpm it did with the stock top mount.

Pros: large core, can use wrx/sti style turbos with extra pipe. retain fog lights
Cons: missing hardware, no install instructions, overflow tank is useless.

came in a large box with styrofoam and bubble wrap around pipes and silicon pieces. didn't have the issue of shredded newspaper and other items floating in the box.
there was a checklist without everything checked off- recieved items that were not checked off and didnt' recieve items that were and weren't checked off. had a bunch of missing hardware, hardware that i couldn't use and no instructions to install it ..though you could get the idea of where the pieces go- probably with the exception of the hardware, it was just guessing on that
. a plus side is that you can keep your fog lights...though the same claim is on the AVO FMIC.
the overflow tank was useless, coolant just kept gushing out of it. eventually i just swapped in the OEM overflow tank and zip tied it to the passsenger side - just before the front of the engine.
the front bumper beam is removed for this install - i'm not sure about other fmic systems out there..but that pretty much means if you hit something then you car is most likely going to be out of commission. i think that's with all fmic setups though.
cutting of some of the undertrays in front of the wheel wells is required for the piping to come out. depending on how much you cut, it could possibly allow your cold air intake - if it goes down that far - to suck up water.

no real opinion on whether i would recommend the wbr fmic because i haven't mount on another brand's fmic. so i have nothing to really compare it to, that's all.
i would have went AVO but got this at a group buy - not the super discount going on right now - would have saved myself 300$
