Only snag I had was that the right side y-pipe rattled against my Perrin 22mm sway bar.

Pros:

top notch quality, rich mellow tone, looks great
|
|
Cons:
|
quieter than most CBE out there, pricey for some, ultra low Y pipe
|
|
High quality construction and finish. The sound is quieter than most aftermarket systems, but helps keep the Legacy sound refined. Very deep rumble at most speeds that turns into a throaty scream at WOT. No drone at all. A good system for someone who doesn't want a lot of attention from ricers or cops.
At a shade over $1000 it's on the pricey side. Worth the money, IMO. The Y pipe hangs very low, so would not recommend this system to someone whose car is lowered as the pipe will scrape.

Nice looking pipe. But wouldn't fit.
When I layed the SPT on top of the stock exhaust to compare, the passenger side of the "Y" pipe was bent too much and just wouldn't mount up. It also interfered with the Cobb sway bar.
No way this would have fit even with a stock swaybar

Great sounds, not too loud. Looks great.

Ground clearance

The exhaust sounds great, very little to no drone. Sounds mean under WOT. Only con is that the y-pipe hangs exceptionally low. But great exhaust, would recommend to everyone.

The passengerside muffler hangs .5" lower then the drivers side...

I recently purchased the 3rd Gen? version of this product after having a bad experience with the MeganRacing CBE, I love the sound, the fitment to the Cobb DP is great, everything is flawless except for the fact the muffler hanging 1/4-1/2" lower than the drivers side... Other than that it is a great product, it did clear my Cobb sways nicely, and I have had no problem with ground clearance.

I posted above that the SPT exhaust was flawless except for the one muffler hanging lower than the other, this was entirely my fault. After taking it on and off 2-3 times :o) I decided to put it on one piece at a time, i.e. mid-pipe then each muffler and it corrected the fitment problem. It is now perfect. Make sure if you buy one you get the 3rd GEN made by AEM its where the money is at, and its beautiful!

Because Y-pipe polished, annoying to keep clean.

For me, I love the sound. It is quiet while cruising, but get real loud with a nice sound when you get on the throttle. I also love the look....Closer to stock and doesn't have that mellon-shooter look. Imho the LGT is a sleeper and this is one of the better exhausts to maintain that look/sound.

Cons:

really low mid-pipe

The deepest and most mellow exhaust tone out there from the other systems I've heard. (megan, cobb, perrin) It's made from some quality stainless from the Y-pipe back. Mine's a year old, recently polished it after 12K miles and a super salty winter and it looks brand new.
The only negative is that the mid-pipe hangs unnervingly low. I actually bounced it off the highway once while going over a rough highway bridge joint on the stock suspension.

I have the v1.5, i say 1.5 cause i bought it brand new from bosal directly and it has all the issues corrected from when it was branded as SPT. one of the nicest looking and sounding exhausts out there and paid $450 shipped from bosal for it, couldnt beat that price. i also think the v1 cans look nicer than the newer ones.

Just picked up the V2 system from Fred beans and I love it. It is made a lot better than the stock exhaust and it fit perfectly (probably even better than the stock cans). It sounds amazing; even one of my friends who hates 4cyl cars admitted that it sounded good. I also noticed a slight gain in the higher RPMs, but then again it might just feel that way because of the new sound.

i like the exhaust a lot, it's not too loud like some other coffee can mufflers out there. it's nice and mellow especially with the cobb tuning downpipe. however, i've had the exhaust for approximately 5 months and i just had the car serviced and there was apparently a noise coming from the mufflers. it sounded like a set of keys clanging together, has anyone else has had this problem?

Paid $850. Still seems like a lot.
Fits perfect, nice finish to the cans and rear y section. Love the tips with the SPT etched in. Why is the whole thing not polished? My XO2 is.
Install is quick and painless. Adds a very nice deep note to the car. No annoying drone even with a catted DP. Lots of compliments on the sound of the car.
No noticeable damage from 1 winter in NYC. But the y pipe hangs low and has rubbed at least once on a downhill speed bump.
