Description: A bolt-on blow-off valve kit is available for the GT - the Legacy GT Hybrid. The Hybrid design, with both plumb back and trumpet outlets, gives the driver a great blow-off sound without being too noisy. The Hybrid can also be configured for either silent plumb back or loud vent-to-atmosphere operation using parts supplied. Best of all, the GT Hybrid is easily installed without any modifications - you don't need to trim the engine cover as you do when fitting some other brands. When installed, the matt black anodised GT Hybrid is almost completely concealed by the engine cover, so at a glance, the engine bay appears standard.

Pros: Easy to install, great fitment, lots of options
Cons: Some other bovs sound better

Just installed... in 5 minutes. Looks great, everything fits without issues.

Can go 100% vented out, 50-50 vent/recirculate or 100% recirculate.

100%vented out is not recommended. 100% recirculate is supposedly silent. If you want sound and dont want to run rich, you want 50-50. The BOV aftermarket being what it is, you are left with very few options.. either this or the AVO. Decided with this one because it looks more low-key.

Sounds like a whoosh of air, kind of like a bus. (but slightly more crisp). if you want a chirp, look at an HKS (although the new ones are only good for VTA.- I sort of guinea pigged myself for that... search for "HKS SSQV")

I am very pleased running at 50-50. It's a good volume and if you tire of it, you can always change it to recirculate. good flexibility. Also I'm planning on going stage2+ and supposedly the stock bpv leaks so I got this.

IMO if you want a safe bov get this or the AVO. this will fit under the stock engine cover for sure. (not so sure about AVO)

Pros: Nice quality, good appearance. Perfect fit. good sound.
Cons: If you run it 50/50, you will occasionally get a little pop (backfire) out the exhaust.

Overall... very nice piece. Not too obnoxious or flashy. Suits the LGT just fine.

nice sound for a 50/50 set-up. it doesn't completely overpower decible level. good price too, perfect for daily driving.

Pros: 5 min install real easy
Cons: trumpet screwon

this is a great product. i just got it and i installed it at night. the only issue was to put on the trumpet i had to tighten it at a up angle. it took till the next night to figure that out. lol. it sounds like a loud rush of air under med to high load and its quiets under low loads great for everyday driving.

Pros: Adjustable sound level, EASY install, hidden - looks stock
Cons: Trumpet goes on at an angle, no whistle option

First installed with full atmosphere and it was loud...very loud. Then tried 50/50 and couldn't ask for more perfect level.

If I had it set to full recirculate, I'm not even sure that my dealer would even notice it (sound and blends in even with engine cover off). Fits under the cover, which I liked.

Install was super easy, would've taken 15 minutes if I hadn't had to mess around with the trumpet for another 45 minutes. I got it on, tried to put the trumpet on and couldn't see it was threaded at an angle. I thought I stripped it or GFB made a POS, until I took it off and looked closely. Then it screwed on easily and I felt stupid.

Great product overall. I wouldn't mind a whistle option for times when I want to be more obnoxious. If someone knows that it exists - PM me.

Pros: fit, finish, completely stock fitment, GFB customer service
Cons: car ran funny on VTA and 50/50 settings

When I bought this piece it didn't have the needed gasket. Went back to dealer and they couldn't find it, mine was the last unit, and they didn't really offer any help to get a new gasket. Emailed GFB directly and they sent me out a new one with no hassle at all. I love a company that take care of problems that easily. I figured that I would need to buy the replacement gasket.
Went on with no issues at all. I ran it on all three modes, and stuck with the recirc setting. The other two impacted gas mileage and the car ran funny. Maybe this is because I have an intake, but the recirc is just as pronounced as the 50/50, and both of those are only a bit quieter than the VTA option. I like the look of this piece too. Some valves look junky, bulky, or flashy. This piece is nice looking. It might not get noticed when the engine cover is on. Highly recommend!

Pros: easy install, can change settings and adjustable
Cons: not good for FMIC users

great customer service from GFB - they sent me a lighter spring for my FMIC setup but it's not working out. product itself is stealthy - black. can change the settings (full recirculate, 50/50 and full vent to air) easily. everything is included in the package as well. i run 50/50, sounds great ~

Pros: Quality build, Near stock look
Cons: I wish it was more stealth (all black).

I have mine set to 50/50. No CEL or backfiring, but it’s a little on the loud side for me.

Pros: Good Look/Sound at 50/50
Cons: Trumpet somewhat of a pain to install. Expensive.

I love the look and especially the sound. I am running it at 50/50 and have noticed no issues except when it is cold, from time to time when I shift I get a pop in the exhaust from running slightly rich. The trumpet I can see to be a pita if you don't know/remember it installs at an angle to clear a bolt. I love the stealth look and the fact that you can still retain the engine cover with NO modification. Great mod to get that psssshhh sound. Doesn't add any performance, so I would not recommend for someone on a budget. There are better ways to spend $235 and get performance, but for me, I love that sound. No one expects it from a sleeper car such as the LGT.

Pros: 3 Choices for operation
Cons: Now very expensive

Purchased mine for $200. See that they are going for up to $400 now. Way to much money for a BPV.

Works great, fits great. Fun to play with the 50/50 setting. Very nice sound when shifting. The "pops" from the exhaust are annoying though. Recommend running 100% recirc, but thats no fun and the OEM part does the job just fine for that.

Going to a FMIC, so this was the ticket with the available softer spring.
