Pros: Holds more boost, stays cold, snug fit
Cons: snug fit? None.

I am running 18 lbs. now since I installed the new IC and I'm confident it could easily hold more. Everything about this part is great. I am glad it fits snugly, more room for more air. Just install the right side with the BOV on it first then tighten down the other two bolts and you're golden!

Pros: Love the boost increase, look
Cons: Tough install

I'm still tuning the new Stage 2 setup, but I love the boost increase I'm able to obtain with it. Same as e'rybody else, it was a tight fitment. I just used patience and tightened down each bolt a little at a time. If I had to opportunity to buy it again, I would.

Pros: Good size and well built.
Cons: Snug fit, but it just takes some patience.

Outside of wrestling with it to get it to fit, it goes in pretty easy. You may have to trim the bracket for the wire harness below the IC. If you do use it with the engine cover you need to trim the underneath (sides and front).

Pros: Size & quality.
Cons: Install

Install was just a little struggle...but not too bad. This is a great mod to do. A big difference in size over OEM, excellent quality and slight increase in power.

Pros: Biggest available, Excellent build quality
Cons: Poor to rough fitment

Other than the fitment, and having to modify the engine cover its an excellent piece

Pros: SIZE!!! Well made and looks good under the hood.
Cons: Can't use engine cover without lots of trimming

Install was not too bad.

Touched it right after making lots of hard pulls and it was almost cold to touch!!

Pros: quality, ups boost slightly , turbo doesn't die out as fast at higher rpms
Cons: price if new, engine cover requires modification

Great deal used, largest tmic you can get

Had it for about 2 years and never a problem. Would not bother trying to fit the engine cover. It will fit with trimming, but if you dont want to damage the tmic then its going to require a lot of modification.

Stage 2 logs using cobb maps show peak boost up to 18psi vs 16-17psi with oem tmic. Turbo doesn't die out as fast in upper rpms (not by much though) Also like piece of mind that the end tanks wont explode.

No reason to pay $800 for an avo, its nice but fitment of the perrin isnt that bad, not as easy as it should be, but mine did bolt right in.

Pros: well built
Cons: it's still a top mount

I'm running my VF 40-18g thru this. Very happy with the performance increase and fitment issues seem to have gotten better. It's tight but install went off without a hitch.

Pros: size, quality, mild performance
Cons: very costly for a piece that fits poorly

As said above the fitment isn't great. I got impatient and crossthreaded one of the bolts going into the turbo flange and then broke the bolt trying to remove it. Had to get that fixed, so it added to the cost.
I won't say that I think I got any power, or that my boost increased, but the car seems a bit less strained under full acceleration. Also when the temps started to rise outside the performance didn't suffer like it did with the stocker. I never felt like the car needed a tune to run perfectly after any of my other mods, but I now get a popping in the exhaust when shifting at high rpm's from two to three...now I think that i need a tune to optimize the setup and work out that kink.
If you can get one used then go for it, but if you want a top mount and you are buying new...AVO might be a better option even though it is somewhat smaller.

Pros: Size, overall construction, look
Cons: fitment, fitment, fitment

I had a big issue with this hitting my clutch cylinder. Guess this is really an 07+ and OBS issue cause they moved the cylinder on our models. If it wasnt for that I wouldve loved this. Size of the IC is huge, a bit too huge though. If they would just put a dent or shave a few inches on the bottom of the drivers side of this it would fit perfect. Also couldnt get the perfect tune with this cause it was giving a false knock due to it hitting the cylinder.

Pros: Improvement over stock, Quality
Cons: Fitment

Fitment was difficult at first, but once I removed the bracket that covers the wire loom it worked much better. Using this with a DB-20G.
