Description: Hawk Performance’s HP Plus brake pad compound is ideal for Autocross and Track Day drivers looking for a high performance race compound that can take the heat of the track and get you home safely without having to change the pads.

HP Plus utilizes a unique Ferro-Carbon, high-tech friction material that was developed and manufactured for sport driving in autocross, Solo II and “track day” applications. The Ferro-Carbon formulation offers lower wear rates and higher torque values than other competitive materials.

Extremely high coefficient of friction makes HP Plus the perfect upgrade over stock for high performance streetcars used in autocross competition or that experience repetitive, heavy braking.

Key Features:

Extremely High Friction Output
Fade Resistant
Worthy for Autocross & Club Racing Events

Warning! Due to the dramatic friction levels produced by this product to achieve "race-level" braking, rotor wear, noise, dust, and pad life may be affected.

Pros: high coefficient of friction
Cons: very noisy and dusty

Current setup: HP+ pads with plain brembo rotors.

Once the pads are bedded in, the difference from oem pads is quite dramatic. Pedal effort needed lock up wheels has been reduced by about a third. No problems with brake fade when autocrossing.

note:
The pads have no wear indicators, so you'll have to check them once in a while to see if they are worn out or not. That being said, they sound like old worn out pads on the street during light braking. Dust accumulation was noticeable after only a few days.

Would buy again.

Pros: Stop on a dime, great torque, good fade resistance on track, awesome DD when warmed up
Cons: noisy, dusty, near useless when cold (needs to be over 300 degrees to be minimally useful)

great autox/intermediate to advanced lapper pad. Should be changed at track, tho, you can drive them there. Allow plenty of stopping distance until warmed up.

fade resistance will be good for track. For autox, if you have been sitting in line, you will find them very touchy so will need to nail them hard to get them to work (dont work so well when cold)

When tracking, I found dba4000 rotors worked well. Slightly better than using centric premiums. They will wear your rotors if used for DD.

Pros: High fade resistance great pedal feel, and good reistance to heat
Cons: Unbelievably noisy at low speeds

Great pad I Use them hard and they hold up great.

When used in combo with upgraded rotors, wear is not that big of a problem.

Will definitely buy them again.

Pros: great stopping power
Cons: noisy

Just put the pads in, and it's night and day from stock. While bedding the brakes in, could go from 90 to 45 in 2-3 seconds while feeling smooth and in total control.

The noise is pretty high as expected, so I will probably put my stock pads back in after my track event this weekend. Will post more about track performance afterwards.

Pros: stopping power increase
Cons: NOISY!!!!! like nails on a chalk board. Brake dust

I have HP plus' with DBA4000 rotors. Tracked the car once with them on and didnt notice much brake fade. Im actually still running them on the street though.
