ceramic

Description: Hawk Performance has introduced a premium, high performance, ultra-low dust, low noise compound called Performance Ceramic.

Performance Ceramic is engineered to reduce brake NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness), creating a quieter performing brake pad. Furthermore, the ceramic brake pad formula has a linear friction profile that allows your ABS brake system to work more effectively. With Performance Ceramic you can expect reduced brake pad wear, lower dust output levels and a rotor-friendly brake pad.

Pros: very clean, good stopping power
Cons: some noise under very slow speeds

these are great so far, had em for about 4 months now. Virtually no dust, but since they are ceramic, some squeel can be heard while coasting to a stop at low speeds. Can't really rave about long life as i haven't had them that long.

Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Worse than stock

I was looking for a good replacement pad, and these were not it. In order to stop the pedal almost reaches the floor. I've have these for several monthes and the old worn out stock pads had a much better pedal feel and a shorter stopping distance. Worse still is that they are dirtier than the stock pads too.
