This pulley is manufactured in the USA by AutoSpeed Performance using the finest in aircraft grade 6061 T6511 aluminum billet material and advanced CNC production techniques.
These pulleys are hardcoat anodized (Type3) which means not only will these pulleys keep on looking great, they will not wear out as other common Type2 anodized pulleys. Type3 hardcoating actually embeds itself into the aluminum molecular structure creating a surface that is 100x tougher than regular type2 (cosmetic) anodizing alone.
Also we CNC machine mill out the lightening pockets after the pulleys are anodized which creates that killer black/silver two-tone effect!
This should be the one and only pulley modification you do to your car. Because most of the horsepower gains come from weight loss, careful attention has been given to aggressively shave rotating mass and reduce “flywheel effect”. We retain the stock pulley diameter for trouble-free performance while increasing engine efficiency to give you solid horsepower increases at the wheels.
Actual performance characteristics are the freeing of 5-8 wheel horsepower (it was once needed to spin your heavy stock pulley – now it can be used to spin your wheels!) due to increased engine efficiency and less rotating mass.
