Description:
|
Significantly reduce turbo lag with our truly engineered downpipe. Designed for optimal performance and durability, our downpipe features full 304 Stainless Steel construction. Starting from the turbo, exhaust gasses enter our cast stainless steel bellmouth housing that utilizes internal shapes and features impossible to create with standard tubing. This design feature was chosen specifically to reduce turbo lag, improve low-end torque, and offer superior durability in high HP, high temperature uses. Another improvement realized is the reduction of exhaust noise entering the cabin common with the thin-walled tubing used in nearly all other downpipes on the market.

As usual Cobb makes a piece that has excellent quality. Feels sturdy and looks great. I like the 3">2.5" because it mated with my Borla CBE without a hitch. It has changed the sound of my exhaust system, bringing out a deeper rumble.

COBB is my new Hero. Hands down the best peice of kit I have put on my car. Not only does my turbo respool faster. My exhaust note is lower, louder, and a hell of a lot meaner. If you don't have this down pipe get it!! Sell your body if you have to! I mean it. but seriously I bought this straight from the shop in Plano, TX and had it installed there. The Guys at the shop where a wealth of info and super friendly. To get my up-pipe, down-pipe, and AccessPort v.2 with custom mapping only ran me $250 for labor. I don't need to tell you how great of a deal that is. I heart COBB nuff said!
