ChruiSSer
Hey guys check it out. The car is dropped on S-techs with stock struts. I had to roll the fenders, and still have some slight rubbing on the inner plastic fender well, but nothing major. The car handles great. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a74/chruisser/Picture001.jpg http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a74/chruisser/Picture003.jpg http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a74/chruisser/Picture004.jpg http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a74/chruisser/Picture005.jpg http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a74/chruisser/Picture006.jpg http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a74/chruisser/Picture007.jpg http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a74/chruisser/Picture008.jpg

ChruiSSer
245/40/18's It's funny because the car rides a little smoother. These tires are a little softer than the stock RE92's I was running.

ChruiSSer
They're the steel gray color. I was trying to keep it sleeper, but with the stock wheels and lowered as much as it was, it was goofy looking. I'm looking at front and rear lip spoilers. Maybe the grill also. The only problem is I'll be scraping everywhere with the front lip. The entrance to my driveway is really bad. Thanks for all the comments! ChruiSSer
So far only 3 passengers totaling maybe 500 lbs. No initial rubbing, but over decent bumps it rubs the fender liner a little. I'm going to be ordering H-techs just to bump up the ride height a little more. Plus with the 18's it raised the car. The stock Legacy wheels will be for the winter, and the S-techs are way to low for some of the snow we get in Jersey.
edmundu
Look's great Chris! Now you need some more power to tax those steamroller's...

EL PAALO
looks good, but why such tall tires?
Rubix973
looks good, but why such tall tires? Because you need them for pothole clearance in Jersey, especially north jersey. Oh yeah and whats up Chris? Seen your car around the wayne area. Looks tight!
Leonardo
Love them! I was getting those in Bronze but they fudged up the order and I got P45F's in Bronze. Gues it's time for someone to make those rims look cool!!
ChruiSSer
Yea, like Gary said, I opted for the 40's because of the roads here. On route 80 there are 6inch holes in the fast lane. At 80mph with the S-techs they kill you. I'm suprised I had no bubbles in the stock tires, and haven't bent or damaged any wheels. I've been contemplating painting the surround on the grill, getting a lip for the front and rear, but i'm going to cool down with the car for a while. I'd rather pay off my bike and car, credit cards, and finish the mustang. Afterall, it's my daily driver. Gary, thanks. I haven't seen you around. Stock still? I know it's a lease, but the only GT's I've seen lately have been drivin by chicks.
Rubix973
Gary, thanks. I haven't seen you around. Stock still? I know it's a lease, but the only GT's I've seen lately have been drivin by chicks. Yup still stock. I might just throw some different mufflers on it soon because its a touch too quiet for me. Wheels and tires are first though, but I got mucho bills to pay off first so that wont be happening for a while. Speaking of chicks driving LGT's. I always see some older lady driving a black one in the Wayne area and theres another black parked outside Cousin Bruno's pizza all the time. ChruiSSer
The black one outside cousin bruno's is the owners. His name is Janti. The other black on, if it's an 06 might be edmundu's aunt. She has an 06 Auto with NAV. I'm running the stock mufflers now and have been for a while, and it is too quiet. I'm going to put the export pipes back on and replace the stock resonator with a muffler and see how it sounds.
ih8vtec13
Looks good I know what you mean about those potholes, my balls drop every time i see an inperfection in the road since i got 18s on my car. BTW what do you think of the tires you are running, I was looking at them and heard alot of mixed reviews and about how loud they are. I went with 225/40/18 Kumho MX and I am kind of curious about how they compair.
Claw
Nice! I installed my 235/40/18 KDW II's over the weekend.. they're about as noisy as the Nokian WR's I was running since December. However, with the music going, it's hardly noticeable.. still I woulda wished they were slightly quieter.
ChruiSSer
They really aren't that bad. I know a lot of folks hate them, but I love the look, and the traction is amazing. It was really a great "cheaper" tire. Compared to the s-03's and such. I ended up paying $153 each for that size!
