05 Scooby OBP 5EAT LGT Wagon

dv8ingvector’s Subaru Legacy Forums Photo Gallery
05 Scooby OBP 5EAT LGT Wagon
Interior Mods:
  • 07 MP3 Capable radio
  • Mvigneau,s "true" line input mod: (With this mod I can push the blank/Sat Radio button on the source select pad and BAM! I have a super clean line in with no CD playing. I am currently using my Iphone 3gs’ in conjunction with a pocket dock line-out with out standing results!
  • Interior light mod: (Now the map lights come with the dome light when I open a door and I can still use map lights independently: IMHO: the best mod so far search for the how to thread)
  • LED interior lighting: (2) front map lights (1) dome light and (1) rear cargo light)
  • i-Phone with Scooby background.
  • Custom cell phone holder: (I made out of Fiberglass and spent way to much time on it but it dose look good
  • Custom stealth cubby gauge mount:(First I just used a flat piece of black ABS plastic; it worked great and I would recommend it for someone looking for a simple clean install...My latest revision however, is molded out of fiberglass and angels the gauges to point right at me it contains boost and oil pressure gauges and the cubby still closes) I would recommend buying the one that is now available: this took a lot of time to get right.)
  • Euro arm rest extension/storage
  • Euro roof mount center console
  • Outback sunglasses holder and map light assembly
  • 300w Power inverter (Mounted under the drivers side seat with a remote on/off switch made to look stock in the dash next to the mirror control and the two AC out lets are run to the blank plate above the rear ashtray.)
Exterior Mods:
  • Cleared Headlights: (I used two people and a hair dryer opposed to the oven, it made me feel better but was actually harder)
  • Eyelids: (Speck A)
  • Clear 3m vinyl headlight protection
  • Yellow 3m fog light protection
  • High-beam Toshiba 9011-HIR1 Bulbs, 12V, 65W: (Retrofit requires some slight trimming of the bulb base)
  • Low-beam 4300k slim line HID (Retrofit)
  • Apexcone 3500k slim line HIDs they were Optilux Extreme XY Yellow Xenon 12V, 35W
  • LED puddle lights
  • 7w LED reverse bulbs (in stock location)
  • Auxiliary 18w LED reverse lights in rear license plate frame
  • LED Blinkers (instead of using resisters to fix the fast blinking; I modded the stock blinker module)
  • LED 7w brake lights
  • LED 7w side markers
  • 3m vinyl tint on all the lights in the rear: (The tail lights took me almost 4 hrs and a few blisters but man it looked good! However in my haste, I ended up ruining the edges so I cut them to just fit the rear blinkers. It still looks sweet!...I also did the 3rd brake light cover however it did not cover the hole light so I had to use some caned tint and spray the gap; you would never know!)
  • Debagged the text on the rear and placed just the GT in the corner of the grill: (if you do it while it is new they come right off)
  • DIY Badge: (I sanded off the blue and painted them with the (red) brake paint to match them.) I also put the one from the front on the engine cover and threw the stock one there away)
  • [B]OBP RBS Grill
  • JDM Aero SPATS:(front and rear painted OBP)
  • Euro rain guards
  • Painted engine cover OBP added and custom painted front badge ware the original was: (sent to paint shop for prim, OBP, and clear)
  • JDM battery, washer fluid, and ABS engine bay covers
Brake Mods:
  • Racing Brake Big Brake Kit with single piece slotted rotors In red: (This whole Kit is amazing there is only a little noise when they are cold but they can stop on a dime. I would like to get the rears to do a little more work with a proportioning valve or something then it will be perfect!)
  • Racing Brake stock replacement rear slotted rotors: (calipers and brackets painted to match the front)
  • Goodridge stainless Brake lines
  • Hawk HPS pads
  • Super Blue fluid
Suspension Mods:
  • JDM Bilsteins struts and ION springs.
  • Front Speck B aluminum control arms
  • COBB Tuning Tubular Anti Swaybar set with reinforcement brackets
  • COBB front and rear end-links
  • Bronse18x7,5 Rota Subzeros with Conti Extreme Contacts
Performance Mods:
  • COBB AP stageII 93oct
  • K&N cod air intake and heat shield, was a Perrin Panel filter with intake silencer removed
  • Alpha Works 4-2-1 = length headers/up pipe
  • COBB catted DP and heat shield
