greenspeed
Pretty much when it came down between the impreza and the legacy i went legacy cause I knew it would tow better, plus impreza's are over priced imo, well the day has come where my legacy needs to get hitched...anyone have any suggestions or pics? I want to run an aftermarket exhaust and really don't want to have issues with the hitch being in the way, or an ungodly large hole thats left cause the after markets smaller, or not the same shape. if you have some pics of any on sedans can you show me? thanks

ehsnils
As I browsed around a bit I found at least fixed hitches. (I prefer them, but it's a matter of taste). I caught one that's for 1999 and onwards, mounting instruction as follows: http://www.brinkweb.com/download_manual.php?id=983 Or the version that fits 1994 to 1999 (wagon, but the sedan MAY be the same): http://www.brinkweb.com/download_manual.php?id=985 Maybe it can give you a few ideas at least. A few pictures of how it looks on my '04 Wagon, as you can see it doesn't have any impact at all on any kind of exhaust system unless you plan to modify the rear bumper. http://www.bedug.com/pics/hitch-1.jpg http://www.bedug.com/pics/hitch-2.jpg http://www.bedug.com/pics/hitch-3.jpg http://www.bedug.com/pics/hitch-4.jpg http://www.bedug.com/pics/hitch-5.jpg Notice that the hitch actually doesn't go anywhere below the spare tire hold. massdrewski
Id think that it would protect your muffler on your adventures if anything.
