Jeremy, when will the 2008 WRX 3" downpipes be ready? They shoud fit the LGT, so a nice 3" DP from you would be awesome!

I'd like to get a gutted stocker DP so I can pass visual smog inspection, but I want one high-flow cat after the turbo. My CBE has already deleted the third cat. Any suggestions?

Are you referring to your entire exhaust after the turbo as the catback? I think you mean TBE has the third cat deleted.

I should clarify. There was a cat in my MP that is now gone. The MP was part of a "CBE" I bought. I am left with a cat in the UP and one in the DP.

That's interesting. That's a bit more than your typical CBE. I mean, catback means 'from the cat, back' and by definition will never replace or get rid of a catalytic converter. It just starts from behind wherever the last cat on the car is and goes from there to the end of the system. Not sure what to call what's on your car besides, I guess, a catback + a midpipe/secondary.
Anyway, the new LGT downpipe wont be able to be run as a shorty pipe on the LGT. In your case you'd have to replace that midpipe/secondary pipe with that part of our downpipe to make it work.
We had some crazy delays with flange manufacturers that completely stalled the process from the beginning of January to last week. We should have had downpipes by now but instead, we've just finally gotten the flanges we need. Luckily this is a one-time glitch and we now have a solid company producing these flanges for us and they'll do us good into the future. We're going to have something to show you guys in the next few weeks as we can finally start assembling the actual pipes now.

Glad to hear that the new DP's will be out soon. I have a 5EAT that is itching for Stage 2 and a new coated DP.

Yes, they'll have a bung on them for an extra O2 sensor in addition to the bung for the stock O2 sensor. It'll come with a plug for those who don't have a wideband.

New LGT downpipes are going to be a while, guys . Sorry to say it. We did a different WRX system for the mean time but that's a 2002-2007 WRX/STI fitment so it's not LGT-friendly. We DO have a kick-ass design for the new LGT one and the prototype but wont be able to manufacture it for some time still.
