I received an email from them stating that the grills should be ready by the end of next week! It looks like the price for these unpainted will be $150. Also, silviaparts.com already said that they wouldn't be offering discount prices for a group buy on this item. My suggestion might be to continue on the list that was already started. Maybe we could use this long list to help make the case to silviaparts that they ought to offer a group buy. I'm not sure if it's kosher or not, but since Tide seems to think the last thread was off topic, I'll paste the list over here and we can try to keep it clean, list only. In fact, I'll edit out all this other junk and just leave the list if you agree. Tide posted on the other sports grill thread that if it continued to be off-topic (silviaparts.com) that the thread was going to be locked. It's not clear in those 9 pages that each individual moved their 'vote' to another vendor. It is clear that silviaparts.com is not running a group purchase price. Therefore a thread is not needed. They have coming soon for the TSX and others...which leads me to believe that it wont' be out for a while.... And for the lip, I'm pretty sure these guys only make grilles and eyelids... Scooter Posted February 6, 2005 Share Posted February 6, 2005 I'll be damn near first in line for the Silvia grille, but only if the Subaru badge fits (nice and centered). I'm looking for the JDM grille look, with badge, but designed to fit our USDM bumper. I'm not sure if they are planning to include the badge: their G35 grille includes the emblem, but their Mazda6 grille does not. Might be able to make one work, even if Silvia is not including this, I guess. As far as pricing, Silvia charges $110 for their unpainted Mazda6 grille, and $150 for the painted... so if ours is $150 unpainted I'd be expecting just under $200 painted. scans007 Posted February 8, 2005 Share Posted February 8, 2005 ***This is just from read'n about Silivaparts not my own experiance**** when I had a mazda, people on the mazda6 board had a tough time with communicating with them on orders and such...and did not recommend them. That being said: When and if they release their grille I still plan on check'n it out, if I don't have a JDM one by then =) By what they were say'n it was supposed to be out by friday...we'll see!
