Just mounted charcoal grey 17x8 +47 Drag DR-38 wheels with Sumitomo HTR A/S P01 225/45/17 ultra high performance all seasons (360 AA A - as compared to the H/V-rated versions).

Tires were $416 shipped from Vulcan Tire.

Wheels were $470 shipped from Discount Tire including metal hubcentric rings and valve stems. PM me for salesperson details - he can do better than listed price.

Wheel with green lugs

On car shots (I'll post more in direct sunlight later):

Some shots in the sun... will have to wait until my hose thaws out to take some real pics after a proper wash/wax/detail.

Good looking wheels!
We don't hear too much around here about Sumitomo tires. Are your set manufactured in China? I believe Sumitomo is the parent company of Dunlop.
CR rated the P01 tires 2nd overall among 17 UHPAS tires they tested, just ahead of the Michelin PS AS+, which was a bit of a surprise. Let us know how they do over the long haul.
Do you find these tires to be exceptionally quiet, as CR says?

My Sumitomos are made in Thailand. Sumitomo has been around for a long time - well established Japanese brand, unsure of whether or not they bought Dunlop or not.

I bought the tires based on the CR review. I'm optimistic to see how they fare. My last two UHP A/S tires were Toyo Proxes 4s and most recently the Nitto Neo Gen (also a top rated tire from an older CR comparison of A/S tires).

The Sumitomos are pretty quiet so far, definitely no complaints on tire noise. Certainly quieter than my winters that just came off and also quieter than the Neo Gens they're replacing as well.

Looks like Sumitomo, Dunlop, and Falken are all under the umbrella of Sumitomo Rubber Industries.

The DR-38s came with them, Discount Tire Direct will include metal ones for free if you ask nicely
