I have been browsing this forum trying to gain some info in regards to my overheating issue. Here are the info on my car:
2000 Outback wagon
New OEM thermostat
New OEM radiator
New belts and hoses
Both cooling fans engages properly
The issues it presents currently are gargling water noise everytime I accelerate (followed burping procedures per search button). Water seems to be going in the reservoir tank to the point where it will eventually overflows, thus, overheating the car. However, when I drive the car and notice that the temp needle is rising, I would accelerate on the gas pedal, then eventually, the temp goes back to normal. Also, it would spike up in bumper to bumper traffic. With that said, im in denial that my car might be experiecing a blown head gasket? No visible milky color, no white smoke and it only overheats on occasion. I have not performed any head tests or any of that sort. Could it be the water pump? What could it be if not the head gasket?
Please let me know if you have any pointers of reccomendations. Thank you in advance.
