I am the second owner. First owner was my dad. Got this car when I started college. Completely stock. There's an intake manifold vacuum gauge from the previous owner, but I've disconnected it since it doesn't do anything for me, and may have caused a CEL error code to pop up.
Most recent service history:
I have most of my service receipts, so I can check exact dates if necessary
New battery March 2013
4 wheel alignment done February 2013
Timing belt, pulleys, and water pump were changed in late January 2013. Also replaced crank position sensor and serpentine belts, and radiator fluid January 2013
New clutch in January or February 2011
Oil change every 5k miles
Interior is in very good condition. I would say most of it is excellent except for the shift boot and the driver's seat bolster. The leather in the shift boot is a bit faded from black to gray along the top by the shift knob. The cushion on the side of the driver's seat is worn down from getting in and out of the car, but that's typical of any old car. No tears in the fabric at all. The rest of the interior is very well-maintained
Exterior is in rougher condition, unfortunately. There is a tiny spot of rust on the roof about the size of a ladybug, and a spot on the right front fender just behind the turn signal. It has not spread in the last 5 years or so. The rear driver side door was backed into in a parking lot. It's missing the plastic molding/strip, and my dad's touch up paint job isn't the best work, so you can tell it's a different shade of silver than the rest of the car.
I was in an accident a few years ago. The car spun out and the rear right hit a barrier. The repair was not done very well, and you can tell by the way the gaps between the trunk lid and fenders are not even.
But, that hasn't affected the car's driveability. The car drives straight and is very stable on the highway. It also corners very well.
I also broke one of the rims a couple weeks ago, which I haven't been able to replace because it's been discontinued. The car will come with two of the 14" aftermarket alloy wheels and 2 stock steelies painted gray/silver, also 14". Tires have good tread still, but one will probably have to be replaced. For now, I've just borrowed a friend's set of stock rims from his 05 Legacy, but they won't be part of the sale.
What needs to be done still:
New belt tensioner for one of the serpentine belts
Shifter bushing is worn, so the shifter wobbles side to side
CV boots need to be replaced
Needs new brakes
CEL is on, Error code indicates something with the MAF sensor. Haven't had time to troubleshoot
Decent amount of rusty bolts from spending a few winters in Ohio (hence the broken belt tensioner)
