For sale is my 5 speed manual 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited Wagon with 83,725 miles. After an intense search I flew to Salt Lake City in 2009 to purchase the car from Nate Wade Subaru. At the time the car had 56,500 miles and I was the second owner via lease return. The car is RBP with black leather interior and all the goods that come with a limited model. The only things I have added to the car are rally armor mud flaps, JDM tails, 5000k HIDs and tint. Tires are Conti extremes and have 75 percent tread left.
The car was my wife's car and my weekend trip car for 2 years and then my daily driver for 2 more years. Both of us have changed jobs recently and so has our car situation. Her job requires a new car which we have already purchased and my job came with a vehicle. It's disappointing because we recently did a top end rebuild on the motor after a misfire turned into a burnt valve. I had them install do the timing belt and water pump while they were in there as well as a host of other small items. The car runs like a champ and has also had a new alternator, battery and starter before this past winter. I really don't want to sell this car since there is nothing left on the market quite like it, we just can't keep 4 cars.
The bad part about this car is the bumper paint. The car was parked on the street at my office and took some abuse. I was just about to have the bumpers resprayed when we got the new car and I decided to sell this one. Quotes ranged from 300 to 500. I've priced the car accordingly. There are a few more dings in the car which you'd expect from a city dweller. I can take more pix if you PM me. Overall I'd give the exterior a 7 of 10. I think some elbow grease and a resprayed front bumper would make it a 9. Interior is pretty flawless, I'd say its a 8.5 out of 10. Back seat is barely used and fronts still look good, no major bolster damage or wear.
The car currently has a lien on it for about 1200. I intend to pay it off later this week so that I can have title in hand for ease of sale. The price listed above does not include shipping but I would be willing to work with an out of town buyer and a shipping company, you pay shipping.
Please no offers for trades, I don't need a 4th car.
Thanks for looking, I know I am not an active member here but I've been on bimmerforums.com for a long time and I'm active in the local BMW community. I'm a car guy and I want this car to go to another enthusiast. Having some ipad upload issues so will add more tomorrow.
