Just bought some new iridium plugs however just locating where they go requires some navigation.Ive been told that you need to put a "B" on a rack and install them from below. Is that accurate,,I'm all earz....

What brand of plugs did you buy? If you bought anything other than NGK you just wasted your money.

Wednesday I embark on a 600 mile trip, fron N.E New Jersey to North Carolina.
I bought my B new i in early 07,much of the car is new however I have the original platinum plugs still plying their trade .I was told they were good for 100K of miles. Is that true?
The car appears to be operating at a sufficiently high level as not to give me concern, but I wonder what ,if any improvement I might expect installing some new Autolite Iradium plugs.
Any info would fall on very receptive ears.....

Umm I just don't know what to say! No navigation needed to find where the plugs go if you have any comprehension of how an engine works! My suggestion is DO NOT attempt any repairs on your own due to lack of even basic automotive knowledge!
