Hello everyone, unfortunately, I’m forced to put this drivetrain swap up for sale. Everything came out of a 2004 STI that got rear-ended. The previous owner of the swap was planning on doing a full GC8 swap, so he bought the STI and removed everything. After removal he had the intake manifold powder coated STI pink, and had the top end of the engine gone through. The drivetrain has roughly 77k miles on it. I was planning on swapping this into my 2005 legacy wagon, and planning on making roughly 400whp. I believe with the proper tuner that you can make roughly 450-475 crank hp with this swap. Ill try and list all the modifications I already have done, or have ready for the buyer below. As well as the engine, tranny, rear diff, drive shafts, full wiring from the STI, and DCCD controls. I have some interior pieces; I have the gauge cluster, the dash, dccd controls, center console, pedals, steering column, and airbags. Not looking to part out the swap, I need to get rid of the whole swap to prepare for a deployment. If you have any questions or are interested in purchasing the swap please call/text at 503-899-2728 anytime. Thanks, Ryan.
I’m asking $9,000.00 for this swap, down from 12k. I feel this is extremely reasonable with the amount of time I have into this, the amount of money on aftermarket parts, and the complete swap which is very rare to find. I don't think you could build this full set up for less than 15k after you buy a stock swap, and all the aftermarkets, especially with shipping. I am open to reasonable offers, price is negotiable. I see these transmissions going for $3000+ alone. I am willing to negotiate the price, so please let me know if you have any offers or questions, or would like to request any specific pictures. Need to sell quickly do to an upcoming deployment. I regret having to sell this as I was looking forward to building a super-sleeper legacy wagon. I hope this swap will go to another Subaru lover and they will be able to build their dream build.
