You should try re bedding in your brakes before anything else. Some times a slight glazing can buildup that can be removed through this process. This is more likely to occur in city driving. You need to get out on the roads and really heat up the brakes probably have some pad material stuck to the rotor. Also i don't know what your driving style is but unless you were just at a DE or track event I find it difficult to believe they were over heated.
I just noticed you're driving a 2.5 if you were driving a sports car maybe. I more certain you don't need new pads and rotors. Rebalance your tires then rebed your brakes.
