I currently own a 2005 Outback XT Limited with the manual trans.
I modified the car lightly:
-new turbo at 126k (vf52 from WRX)
-street tune by Phatbotti (18psi)
-magnaflow cat back (stock exhaust was discarded)
-Bilstein HD front and rear struts with stock rear springs and tein front springs
( I have the origional struts if needed, ready to bolt back in)
-whiteline rear sway bar (stock bar was discarded)
-set of ASA rims 18" and stock wheels
-cartboy shifter bushings
-whiteline SLA lower control arm bushings
The car is my daily driver and I am currently putting 50-75 miles a day to and from work. My wife is looking to get a car for me for my 30th birthday and part of the caveat is to sell or trade in this one. I love the way this thing drives with it's current suspension setup. I'd like to see it to go to another Subie enthusiast. The car has about 137k now and will continue to climb as I drive. All fluids were changed when the turbo was replaced ( front diff/transmission fluid, rear diff, coolant), and synthetic oil changes every 3-4k miles. Currently using Motul 5w-40; engine is consuming about a quart of oil every 3-4 weeks. Compression test showed all cylinders at approx 98-100 psi when I last checked them. TIMING BELT, water pump, tensioner, and idler pulleys replaced at about 129k.
