1. Oil pressure at idle doesn't register above 0
2. There is a 1 sec delay from when I start accelerating to when oil pressure increases
3. When crusing around town oil pressure could be anywhere from 20-30 and kids of floats back and fourth between those numbers.
4. At WOT the needle goes to 100 and stays there for 4 seconds.
5. When I am crusing between 40-50mph then let off the gas the oil pressure jumps to 50 quick then comes back down.
6. All of these behaviors are new as of 2 weeks ago. All of these behaviors happened at the same time.

Is that a part of the gauge or the car?

It's the aftermarket sender that the gauge gets its reading from. It could also be a faulty gauge. Is it a Prosport?

What kind of gauge is it? I've heard that prosport oil press senders have issues. You will find the sender either near your oil filter or somewhere on the block.

Verify pressure with a mechincal gauge. You can get one for ~$15. Install it where the OEM pressure sensor is (or was) located. Confirm it's your sender. If it's not, it's very likely a cracked oil pickup and you should NOT drive the car until it's repaired.
