SO i was going to remove the turbo to do the banjo bolt screen.. i didnt want to put the shields back on.. good or bad choice?

FWIW, mine didn't have a heatshield when I got it so I bought and installed one.

Don't worry, you don't need to get all the bolts back in. I think only has 2 bolts, may be 3

Use anti seize compound on all the nuts and bolts.
