Hitting the track in a couple of weeks, should I keep my winter tires on and run with that or switch to my summer tires? I plan on bringing both anyways but which will give me a better time?

You doing the NF course? I would put on the summer tires. On a closed course you will not have to worry much about sand and dirt. You will WANT traction. Wish I could have done this, oh well there is always next year.

I would not expect a "Winter Tire" to provide the same traction as a "Summer Tire". Basically Winter Tires are designed to provide traction at temperatures below 32 Deg, while maintaining Traction at temps between 32-60.... Any temp above that the Winter Tire would be outside it's design area.

Summer Tires typically work the opposite.... So best bet unless it's freezing would be Summer Tire.

The only detail would be the Tires Themselves (ie wear and performance type) ie a basic summer tire vs true performance winter might be closer together vs a true performance summer vs standard winter.
