2010 Legacy grilles

A few member emailed me and interested in a front grille for the USDM Legacy, yup, the JDM one wouldnt fit, looks like we have to develop one just like the 05-09 one.

It'll come in FRP unpainted or Carbon fiber. This time I will need 3- 5 person in this group buy to fund the development of this project.

Our previous grilles are great quality and fit very well, you can see that at www.rrevsports.com

Time frame:

We will collect half deposit when we get enough for 3 persons. Takes 4 weeks to get the first test fir grille after deposits are collect. If the test fit grille fit well, we will need another 2-3 weeks to get the final pieces in. If not it'll take another 2- 3 weeks for the second modified test fit grille to come and test fit again until we got the fitting right. We will refund you guys if we can not get the perfect fit grille within 3 months.

This is the prototype grille:The fabrication guy misunderstood me by " keeping the OEM emblem mounting place", so he make that to be like OEM shape.

Can this grille support a grille emblem? I quickly looked for one and could not find it. Thanks.

most of us on here just use double sided 3M adhesive to put the emblems on. some use screws and other methods. search a bit on the forum and you'll see.

Lets say we put money down but don't like the final look?

I was looking to keep the silver on the front of my car.

The grille will not have a special spot for the emblem in case someone don't like it. Like JaeGT said, you can mount the OEM emblem on the mesh by adhesive or bolts/nuts. The grille will be available for unpainted or carbon fiber, you can paint it to body color if you don't like the carbon look. Let say if you really dont like the outcome of the grille. We will work out some store credit for you to purchase something else like LED, strut bars/ Strut braces, mud guards, rain guards., etc

I have the same question and concern as Bob. Also what do you mean by unpainted; what part is unpainted?

I'd be interested. I think the carbon fiber grille would look pretty good with the graphite gray.

Unpainted means the entire grille is like white. This is the example of our grille in unpainted white.
