That's right ladies and gentlemen. My car chirps like a bird when accelerating. It is quiet if you are cruising, but if you put your foot in it. It chirps and is not very responsive. It does accelerate but not what I feel the car should do. I have all new gaskets in the exhaust and no check engine lights. Any ideas?

when you put strain on the motor it causes it to rotate. try tightening the pullies, there is a tensioner for the ac that can be tightened, make sure you loosen the locking nuts or you will shear the holder of the tensioner bolt.

I check that originally. But the sound is in behind me when I drive.

I get a whistle like I have a turbo under the same circumstances that you get your "chirp". Mine is likely from a a vacuum leak but since you said your noise is from behind you I'm not sure. :/

Hello;
Your chirping sounds to me like an obstruction in your exhaust. I replaced my rear muffler and runs great now! Check your cat, resonator, and muffler. Use a big shop vac and run the exhaust thru each component to check, Steven.
