Ok so I noticed last night when I got out of my car that my passenger side puddle lights were not working on my car: driver side works. So I did a little investigating, and found the plug behind the air box, that's plugged in. Pulled off my side skirts and those are both plugged in. I turned over the side skirt and I noticed the rear light looks like it got water inside it and then fried the light and it even ended up dropping the LED off the circuit build. (Picture attached).
Now to my question, since these lights seen to be wired in series, does the rear light have to be working for the front to work? Or maybe they aren't in series and actually in parallel? I used my little volt meter to see if they are getting voltage at both the plug behind the air box and at each light plug, and it seems to be getting some. I'm not sure what the actual voltage is supposed to be so I'm not sure if it's below or no change. I guess I should pull off the driver side and try it.
