well last night I picked up this little DD for me. Not bad, 2006 Legacy GT Spec B. Pretty rare. number 370 out of 500 ever made.
-STI intake manifold
-Grimspeed Air Oil Separator
-TD05 18G turbo from PDX Tuning
-GTSPEC EL header w/ UP
-Gimmik motorsports Cat Back Exhaust
-Kartboy Short Throw shifter and all Transmission buschings
-ACT Lightweight FW
-ACT Street disc Clutch (50k miles on it)
-Straight Cut 1st and 2nd PPG gears installed by Andrewtech
-HID Kit 6000k
The trans is very interesting with having the straight cut first and second gears. It drives very well. drove it 100 miles home last night and didnt have a problem.
there is one little problem that I know of though.. she blows a little smoke. and by a little I mean a LOT!! lol. she needs a bottom end. cylinder 2 rings are shot. debating on what direction to go with the build, new owm longblock or a forged internal build on this motor, rebuild heads.
I plan on making about 350-375ahp in a week or so after its finished up. Going to start pulling it apart this weekend.
I will be updating this thread slowly. I have already started to pull the motor apart, I got her up on the lift, all fluids drained, full exhaust is off and I pulled all the intercooler piping so Ill have them powdercoated next week. Hoping to have this car done in 2-3 weeks. just depends on the time frame on the machine shop.
any suggestions would be appreciated aswell.
