I just got my AP from wacky_woodchuck on the forum here, and had a question about the OTS stage 1 maps. He has a 2012 LGT while mine is a 2011 so the AP is preloaded with the 3.10 revision maps. When I looked at the cobb site, the v3.01 is listed as the map for use with to 2010 and 2011 cars. v3.10 is in the release notes for the 2012 model and just says
"3.10 - Maps revised for 2012 model year release. Incorporates revisions to timing, boost control, and fueling strategies for better performance and consistency"
Correct me if I am wrong, but i thought the 2011 and 2012 have the same engine internals? If this is so, why would the v3.10 map not be listed in the 2010-2011 cars? Which map is everyone here using a Stage I OTS map using?

Stick with Cobb's 2011 maps for your car. There is something different, I can't recall now, about the 2012 map that may not work so well on your car.

Thanks, I downloaded the 2011 maps, so they should be good to go.

Responded in the thread you linked to, but will do so here as well... E-tuners will ask for a 3rd gear pull (WOT) from 2500rpm to redline (about 35mph to 90ish mph)... this will give us more info, but I'd be worried about DAM at 0.56. I've seen small knock corrections on my maps from Brentuning, but DAM is always steady at 1.0... if you can give us a WOT pull in 3rd gear as described above, that might help us help you more...

I wasn't comfortable with the DAM @ 0.56,so I reflashed to the 91 Octane map until I can see whats going on. DAM started at 0.86 as programmed, and rose to 0.94 and then 1 within about 10 to 15 minutes of driving and stayed there. Did a half assed 2nd gear pull b/c of traffic and didn't see any knock, DAM stayed at 1. Figure I'll stay with thi until I can make sure the engine is mechanically good to go. Since I'm a little more confident with this map for now, I will try and get a 3rd gear pull and log it as soon as I can. Bit of a hassle in crowded urban areas.

Dont take that as the end-all diagnosis, my DAM was reading at 1 but I was driving around with a massive boost leak which could have led to very bad complications if left unnoticed.

Yeah, saw that thread of yours. How did you definitely figure it was a boost leak and where was it?

Good excuse to put some miles on the car though!

Didn't mean to suggest that DAM at 1 meant all was fine, just that if mine _wasn't_ at 1, I'd be concerned... there are 5-6 things I always check on when datalogging, and all are worth looking at... here's a good guide:

Never noticed TBH, my datalogs indicated I was hitting target boost, I had no funny honking noises and I was getting knock here and there... went to Innovative and they did a boost leak test, found it in the post turbo, post TMIC area where theres this rubber coupler in between the intake manifold and the TMIC piping

Yeah for sure, that statement was directed to dawkins for the most part!

OK, 3rd gear pull, couldn't get quite up to redline but just about, this is a highway onramp so mild downhill in beginning followed by mild uphill toward end
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...3c&usp=sharing
Also mapped rest of commute, about 15 minutes long. DAM stayed at 0.8 at engine start and stayed there whole time, including short drive for lunch later. Most of the logs just show 0s for FBKC, and mild + numbers for FLKC, but I went through and cropped out these areas of possible knock.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...FE&usp=sharing
Any thoughts on why the DAM is stuck at the startup value of 0.8? At sea level here, temp is 82 and humid
