Background Information:
I bought this car in Late October, 2012 with 188k. I fell in love with her! The turbo charged 250hp wagon opened my eye to the Subaru community but, I noticed the gas mileage was killing me! Not easy filling up the tank each time being a college student, this is part of the reason why I am selling her. Now the main reason, as of today Late January, 2013 with 192K, It has come to my attention that since I don’t much about the past maintenance of this vehicle I should do some maintenance. I made a list of things that I should do which is:
- Timing belt, Head Gasket, Water Pump, etc.
- Left Rear Wheel Bearing
- Brakes
- Tires
I don’t have the money to invest in her , everyone tells me to invest the money because she’ll go for another 100k plus mile plus she’s rare. But in reality I need money for school and a more economical car. Other than that the car drives strong. I have taken her to Hartford and New York City with no problem. It will be hard to let her go but I have to.
( I will be posting up more Pictures )

I was just looking at a turbo'd wagon, needed the same stuff. So I did some research.
As far as parts go; $850 for head gaskets, valve covers, timing set up.
$180 for wheel bearing. Brakes can be any where from $450 to $600, depending what you buy. Tires, thats up to debate. I don't know the labor but roughly 16 hours, again depending on where you go.

It is a Subaru with over 100K miles, therefore it needs a new head gasket
Only half kidding.

Looks pretty sharp for the mileage. If somebody had that cash laying around and wanted a newer project car, I'd say this is the one.
