With up to 2 feet of snow projected for this evening into tomorrow for the Northeast, what are you going to do with your fifth gen??
Depending on timing of this storm and work, I got my GoPro HD ready for some winter bashing. Going to try to get some decent outside of car vids on the way home tonight. Of course there will be no sliding around or what they call "DRIFTING". Also, traction control will be on at all times for the safety of others and of course yours truly! Hmmmmm......

Took a ride out to a certain location in western ny located on a certain island in a certain park that has an obscenely large parking lot with not lights or parking stops etc and is also apparently not plowed at all in the winter. Will be visitng again soon!
Stay safe everyone!

They were saying 2 - 5" here last night. I think they dropped it to 1 - 2" now overnight and mostly rain. I think that's perfect though b/c I'll be able to play in the snow but it won't be deep enough were I become a snow plow and probably mess up my car.

I'm working till 2:30 am tonight. Supposedly I'll be on my way home in the worst of it. Hopefully my front lip survives.

For a Spec B? as long as you can see out the windshield, you'll be fine...
Mostly I think it'll depend on your ground clearance... using the nose as a plow is OK for short distances, but if you try and plow through 12" in a parking lot, you're probably gonna get stuck SpecB or not!
I'm gonna head out this afternoon for some parking lot fun , and then park it for the major snowfall... I got booze, a girl, and netflix... should keep me busy!

when i left for work at 5 am, we had 3 inches in the subdivision and no one on the streets. i MAY have slid around all the corners on my way out. I certainly did not turn around to do it all over again..... twice.

You underestimate the omnipotence of the SpecB. Stopping it is unpossible.
