Get a downpipe and an Accessport before you get a header.

You don't need that.
Do what ^ said. Or go open source tune.

You won't gain much, if anything, using a header with the stock turbo. The turbo itself is far more restrictive than the header at this point. At this stage, about the only upside in going to a header would be going to an equal-length model and losing the blub-blub sound.
Buy a downpipe and get tuned to stage 2.

Equal length = no rumble. Why buy a Subaru at that point?

Equal length = 20whp / 20wtq over UEL. Why buy a header if it doesn't get you that performance?

Buy a Subaru for the Rumble. Pshh. You can make any 4 cylinder sound like a boxser with an UL header

Yeah, but you lose power along the way. Who pays to lose power?

People who buy UEL headers for a Subaru, or worse yet buy an UEL header for a car that came EL as stock, that's who.

That's what I was getting at...
Port/polish and a Grimmspeed crosspipe is about all I'd ever do. At stage 2 or 3 on a DD car, I'm never going to miss that 20hp. I should say, that 20hp sacrifice is worth having the rumble so I don't sound like every other EL header, 4 banger on the road.

Fixed.
