Where do I start… I acquired this pristine Legacy about 3 years ago. I purchased it from the original owner who was selling because he was offered a company car (Acura MDX). Didn’t need a third vehicle so he sold this. I purchased the car with just under 100k miles. Stock condition. The car was originally purchased from Bill Kolb Subaru in NY as a “GTX” package. For those that don’t know, Bill Kolb takes standard platforms and then “modifies” them. Usually in a tacky manner. HOWEVER, the GTX package consisted of a Borla Catback, factory Short Throw shifter and Stainless Steel Brake Lines. Quite classy indeed.

I financed the vehicle at a 2.5% interest rate, hence the lien. There is still about $6,000 owed which I will gladly payoff once the vehicle is sold. I will have the title the same day.

For those that don’t know, I work for a Subaru dealership in NNJ. This is my 3rd Legacy GT and 11th Subaru. I have a habit of fixing things that are not broken. Call it OCD, anal retentive, I am SUPER critical about all of my machines!

I am in no hurry to sell. Reason for sale is I'm looking at a company car. Ironic to the situation in which I acquired it. I am contemplating keeping it, but for my asking price, I will let the car go.

I said to myself when I got this car that I wouldn’t modify it past Stage II. On both my last Legacy’s one thing led to another and ultimate resulted in cracked ringlands and the motor needing a rebuild. It started off as Stage II. Then the turbo was replaced with a BNR billet 18g. A few thousand miles later what I thought was a spun bearing was actually the top ¼ ringland which cracked off and went through the motor. (at ~118,000 miles). That resulted in the following…

Motor:
Block Bored to accept 100mm pistons (8.2:1 CR)
12’ STI Nitrated Crank
Brian Crower Rods with upgraded ARP bolts
CP 100mm pistons
Heads were decked with valve job and new valves installed
Cosworth Head Gaskets (.78 compressed thickness)
ARP Head Studs
Gates Timing Belt kit with new pulley’s tensioner waterpump
Grimmspeed Crank Pulley
Grimmspeed AOS
TGV Deletes
Deatschwerks 850cc Injectors
Walbro 255 fuel pump with EFI Logics Pump retainer clamp
Tomei Un-Equal Length Headers
Cobb Catted Downpipe
Borla Catback
Cobb Accessport (AKUMA custom tune) 370whp @ 21psi on 91 octane.
Grimmspeed BCS
Omni 3bar MAP sensor
Killer B Oil Pickup
STI 11mm Oil Pump
73mm KS Intake

Turbo:
Blouch 440xt 8cm housing with HPD Turbine and upgraded wastegate actuator
RacerX Front Mount Intercooler (V3 with black couplers)
Core painted black (radiator paint for heat transfer) for “sleeper-ness”

Transmission:
Clutchmasters Ceramic Stage IV Clutch with lightened flywheel
Kartboy shifter bushings

Exterior:
Swift LGT Wagon Lowering Springs
KYB AGX shocks
Koya 18x8 with NEW Conti Contact Extreme DWS Ultra-high performance all season tires
Blacked out Grill, Front Air Dam and Rear bumper insert
Trailer hitch (used a handful of times for bike carrier and 5x8” trailer for dirtbike)
20% Rear Tint (done by Lee Berbs)
35% Front Tint
08+ Outback Tail Lights (clear turn signals vs. amber)
04 STI side decals

Brakes:
Vented/Slotted Front and Rear Discs
HPS+ Pads
Red Painted (duplicolor caliper paint) Calipers

Interior:
STI Titanium Shift Knob
Factory Short Throw Shifter as mentioned
STI pedals
STRI Boost Gauge

Miscellaneous Notes:
Subaru Blue Coolant
Amsoil Trans/Gear Oil
5000k HID’s w/ Slim Ballast
3000k HID Fogs
Hella 500's w/ subimods bracket/harness
RA Flaps

I have all the receipts/invoices for all the items. The Block was machined and built by Rallispec in Central NJ (great reputation). I assembled the rest, and ordered all new valve buckets as compared to swapping them and being close. That alone cost about $150. I have over $10,000 in JUST THE MOTOR! With less than 10,000 miles on the build. The car is truly a must see. The motor should handle ~600hp. The car is running just over 400 bhp. There’s room for improvement but I wanted a fast/reliable setup. The best part is she doesn’t burn oil and it’s not noisy like most built motors. There’s plenty of other modifications which I haven’t listed…subtle solutions accessory belt cover, SPT battery tie down. I’ve even upgraded to a 2009 Legacy Key fob so the key and remote are on one fob instead of the typical key and remote. That means I have all 4 keys. The car is in outstanding condition. It’s a must see to believe. See the below pictures. Email for more pics, information and to see the vehicle. NO JOY RIDES.

Imperfections: there are a few door dings here and there, worst one shown in the picture, passengers side rear quarter. Nothing that a little PDR can't get out. Couple scratches on the back bumper, 2 minor scratches on the front pass side bumper. Also has a cracked windshield at this time which I do plan on replacing with a factory windshield.

Thank you for looking.
