I've been wanting to do this since day one, finally decided to spend the time and get this done right. All I'm doing is remove the "2.5GT" & "SUBARU" emblems, and relocate the "Symmetrical AWD" emblem to where the "Subaru" emblem was.
TOOLS
Heat Gun
Dental Floss
Painters Tape
Magnet Strips
Round Magnets
Rectangle Magnets
Bubble Level with Magnet
Metal Ruler
3M Plastic Emblem & Trim Adhesive
Rubbing Alcohol
Goo Gone

Simple instructions (If you have questions, just ask below or PM me)
Use the heat gun to remove the badges and prevent paint damage, this also makes it easier to remove the badges with the dental floss.
Use the magnet strips to mark the position of the "SUBARU" badge, then used painters tape to mark the position of the magnet strips right underneath it. This way, you can remove the magnets without losing the original position of the badge and have just enough room to remove the "SUBARU" badge.
Use a metal ruler so you can use the magnets to hold it onto the trunk. Make sure you get a precise measurement of the spacing between the "Symmetrical-A-W-D" for a clean transfer.
After a few practices, clean up the surface of both contact areas (trunk & emblems) with goo gone and rubbing alcohol. Replace the magnets back to where the emblems are supposed to go. Then use a piece of painters tape to grab onto each emblem, apply the trim adhesive, then proceed to re-install the "Symmetrical AWD" emblems onto its JDM position.
If you prep/tape/use the magnets right, every badge should snap right into its place. After your done, just clean up and you're good to go!

Looks nice and clean! Love it. I wonder how that symmetrical AWD badge would look on a fully debadged 4th gen trunk.

That seems like a lot of work to move a badge a couple inches.
Looks like you did a good job at least

Oh I like this. I'm all debadged now but I'm getting sick of people asking what kind of car I have. People don't seem to know what L7 is lol I may give this a shot this weekend. Where did you pick up the badge glue? I'm assuming any auto parts store?

I love having people ask me what kind of car mine is! It's because it's unique enough and a good looking car that people want to know what it is. I take it as a compliment.
BTW, I just left the 3.6R badge on the back end of mine. I feel the Subaru star logo is enough of a clue.
