Anyone have any problems mechanically after flashing with AP? Just Curious and want to be prepared. I've seen my friends Audi A4 with the APR stage 2 tune blow out his diverter valve and fuel pump.

No, just flash Stage 0 or Stage 1 and you will be fine.

No problems here, do it! The only regret you'll have is not doing it sooner... and if you can find a good tuner near you (or just get Brentuning to e-tune for you!), the gains will blow your mind! Pro-tune : Cobb OTS Stg 1 Map :: Cobb OTS Stg 1 Map : Stock. (your SAT practice for the day)

I kinda thought the DV was a weak link on the Audi to begin with. Just about every VW/Audi owner I know has had DV issues.

Thanks Guys. I cant find 91 octane in Florida only 93 so I think ill be good with detonation. ProTune will be from AWD Motorsport in Coral Springs once I do the Fuel Inj and Turbo Upgrade W/ front mount, but thats a couple years from now Appreciate the feedback for my first purchase for my LGT

Its cause their made of plastic. APR makes an aluminum one. A BOV will throw a boost leak code also.

I think i am jumping in on an AP
keeping it stock, im in the NW and we have 92 oct gas so ill stick with the 91+ stage 1 to start. What could i expect in gains if any from a pro tune stage 1? I was hoping for marginal gains over the OTS map and could a pro map shift the torque and/or hp earlier in the rpm's?
Thanks

I got HUGE gains over stock, as well as the OTS map from my pro-tune... See attached pic (Invidia CBE, but that's not likely to have provided much power... all done on 93 octane gas, so YMMV). Red lines are stock HP/Tq, pink was Cobb OTS 93 octane map, Green is pro-tune.

My results:

The 3rd graph is the helpful one. Much more torque earlier on and more horsepower throughout.
