ok so I have a 2000 Subaru legacy L 2.5, I recently replaced plugs and wires and there was a tiny bit of oil on the plug from cylinder 3. that was about 2 months now for the past 2 Weeks when I start my car while its warming up I smell a lil bit of burning oil. is it bad? could it be a head gasket? tell me wut u guys think

The oil in the plugs are from the valve cover plug gaskets going bad but you could have a tiny external leak and its burning off and going through the air vents which isn't to much to worry about as long as you check the oil and make sure it doesn't run dry. I would be worried about an internal leak that's when you run into coolant, overheating, and damaging stuff but a full head rebuild would fix everything

Plug seals leak after time. Also double check your CV boots as you could have had one crack and throw axle grease on the exhaust. That's not a pleasant smell.

Mine has an external oil leak on the HG's and it's been that way probably for a year but never uses enough oil to alarm me. Hoping to address the HG's this summer.

ok this is weird. I just replaced the knock sensor and now the car runs way better. but also the alignment is better it doesn't pull to the right anymore and I think the brakes work better now to.. cars got 163k and once again running strong.. no more light on.. although Goodyear told me my rear away bar links are shot but I cannot find just the links anywhere.. that to is wierd
