Son Drove in Winter Driving Clinic with Legacy..

and it was fantastic. The local sports car club did a great job. The weather was great with lots of soft snow and ice underneath. There were four courses. There was a braking, cornering, accident avoidance and road course. The cones took a beating. Great behind the wheel experience.

All the kids were new drivers. They used a subaru with bald tires on the back on the one course. The students used family or their cars on the other courses. A couple nationally ranked sports car club drivers were instructors. Quite a few had subies. Afterwards the instructors took us for a spin in their evo, sti's, etx. It was a great time for my son.

Sounds awesome. I think they do something like that in my state at limerock

Sounds sweet. Always wanted to try stock class ice racing with my legacy. A friend invited my last year and I chickened out to go skiing. (there is a strict no contact policy but was still kind of worried about playing bumper cars with a new car). Moral of the story, complete mistake, totally should have went.

Wasn't really a competition, though they timed the autocross. Son ran it in 38. The rest of the cars were 41, 42, 45 and higher. There were some SUVs and family cars.

I don't care if you don't believe me. There many people on this chatroom are great. This place is fantastic most of the time. It's still the internet and I don't have to "prove" anything to people out there I don't even know. Too many idiots here that pick on newbies and other people. Send me your personal info/email address in a pm and I will send you pictures and other info if you like.

Seems you came here and accused me of lying/asking for proof. We can settle this through a moderator. I would enjoy proving you wrong and seeing you disappear. Why don't you do yourself a favor and delete your posts to save face?
