hey in my 2010 lgt it has the mcintosh dvd player, i burned a dvd last night with mp4 videos on it yet it wont play, now its a dvd player so what format can it play?

i am Australian and drive a liberty, so i am guessing its a JDM thing, i burned a data dvd last night and it had .mp4 files on it but it didnt work

Just because it's a DVD player doesn't mean it'll play mp4 off a DVD-R. DVD standard is MPEG2 video. You need an actual video DVD, not a DVD with video files.
