Useless Info:First off, the subaru isn't mine, it is a 2010 2.5i limited, and it belongs to my girlfriend, but she isn't the forum type. I have searched though the forum, but only found info on a 2005 over current (didn't help) but! i did stumble upon the tip to remove the seat belt chime. thank you!
Actual problem:So, on to my/her problem. She used to plug her iphone straight into the USB port in the console. every once in a while it would give her an "overcurrent" message... now it's on all the time.
She played the iphone through SAT, im no subaru expert, but I thought that was satellite radio? anywho, she used it because it showed the name and artist of each song.
This really isn't that big of a problem, because her aux port still works, and she can use 12v to charge her phone, just an annoyance, that the subaru dealership can't give us a straight answer on.
I have already tried disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds. I'm just hoping someone else has had this problem and has an easy fix. If I need to replace something i can.
Thanks in advance for any input!
