Has anyone tried modding the 5EAT shifter to make it shorter so theres less of a gap between the Shift knob and the PRND panel?

Even if it only cost you $5 it would be a complete waste of time. And with that $5 you could get a foot long sub from subway. Way more satisfaction from a foot long sub than a "short shifter" for your auto.

But aren't Footlongs just 11 inches based on some recent pics taken by unsatified customers. So just leave it alone and buy a Manual of I want a Short Shifter.
