**update**

Check engine lights fixed and airbag light fixed by Subaru mechanic. Will pass smog check. Car still runs great. New price: see below.

Hi Everyone,

I am selling my vehicle. I am located in the Los Angeles area.

Year, Make and Model: 2005 Subaru Legacy GT 2.5 Limited 5MT Sedan - unmodified
Color: Regal Blue
Miles: 104,000
Transmission: Manual
Title: No issues
Lien: None
Location: Los Angeles area
VIN: 4S3BL676156208583
Seller's email address: pooger77 [a][t] yahoo.com

PROs:
Battery is new
Clutch was redone in 2011
2 of the tires are new eagle GTs
I had all major services done (30k, 60k, 90k) at a subaru specialist
I have all the car related paperwork for the life of the vehicle in the glove compartment
The vehicle looks great on the inside. It still smells great. Nobody has ever smoked in the vehicle. The outside will look fantastic with a clay bar wash
I installed a Jazzy Pro board into the radio, so the car will take an aux input or an ipod input. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...4.html?t=18504
I professionally installed a 10" subwoofer in the trunk with an amplifier stuck to back trunk wall. The control is in the front next to the driver's seat.
I have a Covercraft Evolution 4 custom fit car cover with lock/cable that will come with the vehicle.
Brakes are aftermarket Hawk HPS street pads from tirerack.com
I have an extra set of front brakes that I will include
The rotors look rusty in the pictures but I assure you it drives fine.
New spark plugs

CONs:
The right front axle was replaced in 2010 due to a leaking CV boot. The new axle is leaking again but Subaru mechanic says I don't need to fix anything right now. (not a serious problem)
Timing belt has not been replaced yet.

The car runs great.

Cash transaction or paypal gift only. No personal checks unless you're willing to wait until the personal check clears first, then you can take ownership of the car.

If you have any questions, please respond here or email me at pooger77 [a][t] yahoo.com.

Just FYI. I've only posted 10 times on this forum but I've been a member since 2007.

I know I said the inside and outside are in "great" shape in my original post. The inside looks better than the outside. The outside could probably use a clay bar. There are some water spots on the paint that need to be removed and the usual nicks and scratches that you'd expect on an 8 year old vehicle, including one where an SUV owner opened his car door into the side of my car. You can see the little dent under the window in image006.jpg

I'm interested, but i'm in Seattle. Would you consider delivering the car and flying back?

That's an interesting question actually. The time spent wouldn't be worth it for me. Sorry about that.

Got a question today about the rotors looking rusted in image002.jpg. They were rusted because the car has been sitting on the driveway for a while. I drove it around for about 20 miles the other day and the rust where the pads touch is gone. Car brakes totally fine and other than aesthetic reasons, there's no reason to replace the rotors as far as I can tell.

More details on the vehicle:

The right front CV boot leaked for a while but I had the entire axle replaced in early 2011. The loud wheel bearing issue did come up around 50k miles or so but I had that warranty fixed at a dealership.

In my original post, the "wire on the battery" that needs replacing is the the topmost wire on the positive battery terminal. It has been overused and twisted and so it's breaking right behind the positive terminal. It definitely needs to be replaced.
