Hey guys I wired up a boost gauge last night and I used the wires running up to my clock and mpg gauges, we'll boost gauge works great but my dome lights will now only turn on when the car is running and my keyless entry will no longer work, doors will still lock and unlock from the inside but not from my key. What in the heck did I do?

Get one of these and wire it up this way. Note the ground going to the dash frame to the left of the fuse panel.

You'll want one of these.
And probably a 2 or 5 amp ATM fuse for your gauge circuit, but I would still put a 1 amp in-line fuse in also if your gauge manufacturer recommends 1 amp.
I actually used the add-a-circuit to put another panel in. And I used this.
You can see it in this picture.
You can get 1 amp fuses in ATO/ATC size, so each of my gauges has their own on the new panel with no in-line fuses.
Rather than splicing in to the factory wiring of the dash lighting dimmer to accomplish dimming my gauges, I used one of these in a custom mount. It only works with LED lit gauges.

Awesome thanks for the info, definitely going to go this route. And what did you use on your panels is that like CF vinyl or different panels. I'm not a huge fan of the wood grain and I've been interested in doing something like that
