ITEM SOLD
Up for sale is a Cobb Catted Downpipe for a 2005-2009 Legacy GT 5EAT. I purchased this recently with 7,000 miles on it. I installed it as part of a stage 2 package, but I decided to go a different direction with the car. It was on my car for less than 100 miles.
DP is in great shape and the cat looks perfect. DP has been cleaned and looks perfect. No cracks or leaks.
Asking $415 shipped. Located in Lexington, KY.

You bought this and only put less than a 100 miles on it...that was a waste of money.

Yes you are correct. Modifying cars is not my thing, I only bought the downpipe to see if it would fix the low load stutter that some legacys have and my car has. If you search for the stumble/stutter thread here on lgt you will see that some members have had their stutter improved with stage 2 so I figured it was worth a shot. It did not improve the stutter on my car.
Since I am not about modding cars for power, this quality dp would be better in another member's car. I was only trying to improve the stutter. In the end, I bought it used, I will sell it in nearly the same condition, so all I will lose hopefully is about the cost of shipping. In my book that is worth it for trying to fix the stutter that has been driving me crazy.

Should have bought a cheap ($150) e-tune from Infamous or cryo rather than just used an OTS map. Would have gotten rid of the stutter and made more power.

I spoke with Dave from cryo in depth about the situation and he was not confident that an e-tune would eliminate the stutter since I had the stutter stock, stage 1, and stage 2.
Trust me, I have researched this topic in depth and know what decision I am making.

Thanks, I agree the fitment is perfect. I also like how it is one of very few down pipes with the cat out of the engine bay. Cool cats are happy cats.
